Leg Veins: Vascular Lesions are Repairable
Visible vessels, broken capillaries, spider veins, redness, telangiectasia and rosacea can impact the way we feel about our legs. Laser vein treatment can help reduce vascular lesions aka visible leg veins or “spider veins.”
Numerous environmental and bodily factors can cause spider veins, including a backup of blood, hormone changes, exposure to the sun, and injuries.
How we treat it
Leg veins can be treated with laser light therapy. Laser Vein Treatment can restore a clear, even skin tone by comfortably reducing unsightly veins with powerful yet non-irritating laser energy. You may feel a warm sensation as the laser pulses are absorbed by unwanted veins. Most patients report little to no discomfort.
Additionally, our master injectionist can work with you to discuss whether your leg veins may respond to the injection of a solution (generally a salt solution) directly into the vein. The solution irritates the lining of the blood vessel, causing it to collapse and stick together and the blood to clot.
Typically, there is no downtime and you may resume your daily activities right away, although you must avoid direct sunlight for at least 10 days. Veins that have been treated disappear naturally in the coming days and weeks. Smaller capillaries will become invisible almost immediately.
Following Vein Reduction at our Cherry Creek North medical spa, an experienced clinical aesthetician will give you additional personalized post care instructions.
My dealings with Mad Peaches have been effortless and efficient. The girls are very nice, the services are top-notch, and the process from check in to check out is so smooth. They offer many different services, all with the knowledge and experience you expect, and their prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend them. (View more of our Google Reviews)
