Uneven Skin: Bumpy, Discolored & Rough Texture
Blotchy skin with red or brown spots, or skin with inconsistent tone and texture is commonly referred to as “uneven skin.”
Age, sun exposure, and genetics can all play a role in how your skin looks.
How we treat it
Broadband Light Therapy
The use of broadband light, known as BBL, corrects uneven skin tones. BBL essentially removes the root cause of what is creating the hyperpigmentation. The pigmentation will darken after the BBL treatment, possibly immediately, but potentially within 24 to 48 hours after. This pigmentation will slough off to reveal newer skin approximately a week following treatment. More than one treatment will be necessary to remove deeper pigmented lesions. BBL will also even out the disparities of pigment in skin that is a combination of both hyper and hypo pigmentation. The end result is an even skin tone and more youthful appearing skin.
The Micropen treatment is also used for uneven skin texture. The micropen improves skin texture with minimal downtime. Micropen is a great option for most skin types and schedules. The Micropen procedure results in new collagen growth and healthier, more youthful skin.

Mad Peaches is the perfect place for all of your skincare needs! I go routinely and have had several different services, but micro needling has become my favorite. Both Jamie and Marjorie are fantastic and I would recommend scheduling with either of them! (View more of our Google Reviews)
